Pilsners, the world’s most popular beer, are the perfect beverage for the busy schedule and the cold weather.
So why not pick up a few pilsner cans to share?
While Pilseners are often sold in the same bottles as Budweiser, it’s a much healthier beverage to buy from the brand.
According to a report from BeerAdvocate.com, more than two million cans of Pilsener were sold in 2016, with more than 100 million of them being sold in North America alone.
While Pals was founded in 2009, it still has an impressive pedigree.
Since the brewery opened in 2011, the brand has been named one of the world “Best Beer Bars” by RateBeer.com.
The beer’s popularity has also helped the brand gain a reputation for being good for you.
“The fact that they’re not making a lot of profit from Pils is probably not a good thing,” Michael Kliman, an attorney and beer blogger, told ABC News.
Kliman is a regular visitor to Pils for his work with the brewery and is not surprised that the brand is so popular.
“They’ve done a good job of keeping the brand going,” he said.
“I think there’s a lot more awareness of what they’re doing with the brand and the beer.”
The company has been on a mission to improve the health of its customers, but the beer industry is not always an easy sell for Pils.
“I think that people really think of Pals as being just a generic name,” Klimon said.
“A lot of people associate it with the great beer of Germany, but that’s a misleading idea.”
Klimon noted that the Pils has not been around for very long.
In the 1990s, Pals made its debut in the United States.
“We were just trying to do a little bit more to get a foothold in the States,” he added.
For many consumers, the beer has a distinct taste.
“It’s very, very good, but it’s not like Pils,” Kreman said.
Kreman added that Pils doesn’t necessarily have to be your favorite beer.
“If you like Budweiss or Pils, you can have a nice Pils with a cup of coffee,” he told ABCNews.com.
“You can also have a good Pils beer with a beer.”
While Klimains love Pils they are not afraid to share their opinion.
He told ABC news that he has yet to come across a Pils-nerd who doesn’t like the beer.
“When I go to a pub and I’m looking for a good beer, people come up and tell me they don’t like Pals,” Kretan said, “so I think it’s good that the people are still trying to figure out what the hell Pals is.”
Kremans personal take on the beer comes from his years of working as a bartender.
“The Pils I’ve had is always a really good one,” he explained.
“You don’t get that Pals flavor.
That’s a real Pils.”
